A couple of weeks ago, I posted a gift guide for toddler that aren’t toys and it was actually a big hit. I had a lot of DMs, texts, and comments about what a great idea those were that I thought I would do a little stocking stuffer list because I mean come on. I still don’t want toys in the stockings either. This year we already purchased one toy for each kid, and that’s it! So what else can you give them you ask? I compiled a list of small items you can put in their stocking as well that are still going to be useful and not extremely clutterly.
Every kid needs a new pair of shoes. Mine run through theirs like they’re going out of style so they get new shoes at least every six months. (and sometimes every month in between.)
For some reason my kids love getting sunglasses but ALWAYS, with out fail, break them! So I always have extra on hand and they love them!
A fun or silly pair of socks
My boys love those crazy socks! They think it’s so funny to see dogs on their toes and bulldozers pushing dirt.
I know, I know..who really wants a toothbrush for christmas! But what if you got a fun one that was their favorite character that literally had all of the bells and whistles that made them excited to brush their teeth.
This sounds funky but my kids love wearing theirs. It also is perfect to keep next to their bed if the power ever goes out they have their own light to get around.
We call these “Kellans School Work”. Tracing the letters and numbers is something he’s really in to right now. He loves practicing his school work and learning
My kids love taking their vitamins everyday. They actually remind me that they need them! Getting a new one in their stocking is the perfect idea and it’s practical that I know they will love!
We literally only take nice family photos at Christmas time! Please, tell me I’m not the only one! Since I upgraded my camera last week, I was so excited to try this puppy out. It seriously did not disappoint. Can you believe that I took all of these with just a click of a button from in front of the camera!? Read more
I never thought I would be the parent that liked my kids to wear matching clothes but the secret is out… I LOVE IT! Especially having all of one gender I can’t help but look at all of the matching outfits out there.
Getting new pair of Christmas pajamas is of course our favorites and this year is no different, I’ve been on the hunt for the cutest matching pjs for all of my boys! The hard part is, with Kaizer being a new baby and Kellan already wearing 4T clothes it’s hard to find them ALL the same ones. So I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite ones that I can’t get enough of! Some are even parent and kid pjs!!
It’s only Wednesday and I’ve lost my shit every day this week. I know I’m not proud of it but I’m human. Being a parent is hard. Like really hard. Especially when you’re raising little versions of yourself. Read more
I don’t know about you but I hate when the kids get toys! Birthday, Christmas, just because grandma and grandpa felt like they needed it. They love getting them and after about a month, they’re broken, pieces are missing, and they are not played with again. Then they just sit there…in the toy box…not being played with. Toys end up getting pulled out and left on the floor because nobody wants to play with them and I end up having to clean up this insane mess that wasn’t even used! It’s just a huge cycle that I hate having to go through.
I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! I know we did! This was Kellans first year really understanding what trick or treating was and he loved running with the older boys to every house he could. Knox just liked walking up to the doors and saying twick o tweat. haha Now we have a ton of candy thatI have to eat, dang it. Our little Kai turned 2 months old yesterday and needless to say everyone is still so in love with him. He’s been a great baby for the most part and just loves to snuggle. Read more
If you couldn’t tell by the title or by my IG Stories, Kellan is obsessed with being Captain America for Halloween. On top of that, he picked out what everyone was going to be this year too. (If you want to see our family costumes you can take a peek right here!) I bought his costume and of course he wanted all of the things that came along with it. What costume is complete with out all of the accessories, right!? Well the shield ended up costing as much as the costume, and not that we couldn’t afford to buy it, I didn’t want to because I know it will either end up not being used ever or broken and in the trash! So I decided I would try and make one and see how it came out.
