I thought this would fun/interesting to really take notice in what we do for the day. Now that I’ve been trying to take my blogging more seriously it’s something that I’ve pretty much incorporated into our everyday life and schedule but I’m still the stay-at-home mom that takes care of the kids and runs around doing our daily actives and of course feeding everyone..multiple times a day. This is just a peek into our semi everyday life. Every day is different and we have different actives for the kids. Most days this is how it goes:
Mornings:
Ethan leaves for work around 7:10. The boys are up and we are starting breakfast. After breakfast we get dressed and ready. Depending on the weather that day we’ll go play outside for an hour. If we have errands to run we go out before Knox takes his morning nap around 10. Kellan and I spend some time together while Knox is sleeping whether that’s learning activities, going outside, playing a game, or watching a movie. We still get to spend a little time together.
Afternoons:
Knox wakes up from his nap. We all eat lunch. The boys usually play together for a little bit and I get some computer work done. This isn’t always the case but sometimes I can sneak it in! The kids and I usually just hang out and play. Maybe go somewhere if we didn’t get to go in the morning. By mid afternoon Kellan take a “rest”. (He doesn’t like to say he’s napping so we call it resting in his room) Knox will lay down around the same time and I get at least an hour to myself if I’m lucky! This is when I do clean up from the day and then work on any photos I need to get done, update blog, or answering social media stuff. Around 4 I start getting dinner ready and Ethan gets home at 4:30.
Evenings:
Our evenings are always different. We eat dinner around 5 or 5:30. Kellan races BMX once sometimes twice a week. Ethan plays softball 2-4 times a week right now in the summer. We play outside with the kids. Ethan has been taking them on bike rides in the evening and they have been loving it! I clean up dinner, get the kids bathed and in pjs, and we relax by watching a movie. (The boys have been loving Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar recently!) And by 9 everyone is bed! Hallelujah! I usually do most of my writing at night from 9pm-11pm. I get ready for bed, put on a mask, and if I could I would be drinking wine!
And our day is done.

July 21, 2017 at 9:31 pmYour boys are so darling. I loved watching your video! How old is Knox? I have a 14 month little lady and they look similar in age. Thanks for sharing a peek into your world. As a SAHM myself, its nice to see a glimpse into your day to day!
July 19, 2017 at 5:55 pmHow sweet! My little guy is 16 months old. I love watching SAHM and see what other moms are doing.
July 21, 2017 at 9:34 pmErin, I always love posts like these because it’s interesting to see how another blogger gets things accomplished and checks things off to-do lists during the day.
This is also helpful to me to see that it is still possible to keep up with a thriving blog even when you have little ones running around to tend to. 🙂

July 21, 2017 at 9:36 pmRunning errands before the first nap is our favorite too. And with the summer heat, it’s the best time to be out and about before the temps reach close to 100*F and we all start getting grumpy. You’re doing awesome things, mama. Keep it up. 🙂
