I love watching GRWM videos! Ask Ethan, I always watch them when I, myself am too getting ready. Oh the irony, haha kidding! It’s something about maybe learning a new tip or trick that someone else might be trying that I just love. Makeup is supposed to be fun! There is no right or wrong way to use makeup and I think that’s what the beauty is about it. And if you don’t like something, it’s not permanent so you can just wash it right off and try again and again. I love playing around with different products and trying new colors. I am slooooowly venturing into some more bold colors. I love my warm neutrals girl! You can never have too many browns, amiright!?
Lets get started..
On a clean face I like to use this Becca mattifying primer. I’ve been using it a lot recently and I can’t decide if I really love it. Some days my skin looks amazing and others not so hot. I’m trying to figure out if its the foundation I’m using with it.
After I let the primer set for a minute I like to use my Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation with a damp beauty blender. Just pounce it all in until completely blended.
I’ve been using a little bit of the Tarte Shape Tape with a little Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer because my shape tape is pretty close to my skin color but I like the coverage and I haven’t been back to an Ulta to find the right color for me yet. Blend that all in and set with Airspun Powder. I mentioned this in a recent favorites and I’m still loving it!
Now on to the eyeshadow! This Jaclyn Hill x Morphe palette has become one of my favorite go to palettes. It has a great range of different colors that you can pretty much do anything with. Neutral, smokey, vibrant, and matte. Once this bad boy goes back in stock I highly recommend getting your hands on one before they sell out again.
I start with shade 1 in the crease to use at the transition color. Blend out with a blending brush.
On top of shade 1, I add shade 2 to add a little dimension with a different blending brush.
I mix the two shade 3’s together and add in the outer V of the eye with a small pencil brush.
After blending all of that together I add shade 4 to the entire lid. Keep it below the crease.
Shade 5 I just dab a little on the center of the lid right above the pupil with my finger and blend in together.
I go back with shade 2 on the same blending brush we used before and go over the crease to make sure we don’t have any sharp lines.
Shade 6 I add to the brow bone and inner corner with a very small precise brush.
After that I like to add my Physicians Formula Bronzer and I’ve been loving this sample of Tarte Blush I got for birthday called Paaaaaarty. I think the color is beautiful and has a very natural look. Then I finally set with the Pixi by Petra Makeup Fixing Mist.
Curl and use L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara and pop on a little Viper Colourpop on the lips to complete the look.
I hope you guys enjoyed! Do you use any of these products and if so what are your favorites??
