Over the past 3 + years has been a huge roller coaster ride! Not just because of pregnancy but also breastfeeding three little boys. I haven’t been one of those moms that has nursed my boys until they were each two but I did get past the hardest part with all of them.
I would say that the first three months is the absolute hardest to get through. The first three months tests you and puts you through a whirlwind of emotions but once you get past it, the hardest part is over.
You’re milk will come in anywhere between 2- 5 days postpartum. With all three of my kids my milk came in 3 days postpartum. After about 6 weeks and your milk regulates to what baby really needs. I remember after having Kaizer, we went out to meet someone to have breakfast and my milk hadn’t regulated yet and I started leaking through my shirt. I didn’t bring a pump and the baby wasn’t hungry. I was pretty shocked because I had never experienced this before.
I’ve mentioned before how Kellan had colic and Knox would always projectile vomit every.single.time he nursed. I wish they had these probiotics when they were little to help them keep a healthy gut and possibly eliminate these problems they had.
I’m so excited to be partnering with Evivo again to share how great it’s been with out littlest guy. Nursing this time around has been the easiest for me. I feel like partially because I know what to do this time (or so I think) but especially because I’m more on top of things to help with my supply and Kaizers over all health. Evivo demonstrates that a probiotic can substantially and beneficially remodel and protect a baby’s gut.
Evivo mixed with breast milk is used to create the foundation for life-long health. That’s why we’ve continuously used this with Kaizer. My babies over all health is so important to me. For the first time ever, a probiotic is able to significantly reduce potentially harmful gut bacteria linked to short- and long-term health issues like colic, eczema, allergies, diabetes and obesity.
Evivo significantly reduces the presence of bad bacteria by restoring B. infantis, a specific strainof beneficial bacteria that’s historically been responsible for much of the programming of the immune system and metabolism, but today, it’s missing in 9 out of 10 babies. Its absence is the cause for the disruption and it’s not always symptomatic or seen from the outside.
Consequences of a Disrupted Gut
- There are at least two children with food allergies in almost every kindergarten classroom (FARE)
- Over one million children in the U.S. have type 1 diabetes (American Diabetes Association)
- The rate of obesity doubles as children grow from toddlers to teens (CDC)
- 9.6 million children under the age of 18 have eczema; of this total, 3.2 million children (33%) have moderate to severe cases (National Eczema Org)
