Here’s a real mom moment
It’s only Wednesday and I’ve lost my shit every day this week. I know I’m not proud of it but I’m human. Being a parent is hard. Like really hard. Especially when you’re raising little versions of yourself.
I don’t know about you but I hate when the kids get toys! Birthday, Christmas, just because grandma and grandpa felt like they needed it. They love getting them and after about a month, they’re broken, pieces are missing, and they are not played with again. Then they just sit there…in the toy box…not being played with. Toys end up getting pulled out and left on the floor because nobody wants to play with them and I end up having to clean up this insane mess that wasn’t even used! It’s just a huge cycle that I hate having to go through.
I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! I know we did! This was Kellans first year really understanding what trick or treating was and he loved running with the older boys to every house he could. Knox just liked walking up to the doors and saying twick o tweat. haha Now we have a ton of candy that I have to eat, dang it. Our little Kai turned 2 months old yesterday and needless to say everyone is still so in love with him. He’s been a great baby for the most part and just loves to snuggle.
Happiest of Fridays my friends!!! In honor of today being the first day of fall I thought I would round up some things I am loving and just gushing over for this Fall season! You can never go wrong with some basic knits that are a staple in everyones closest but I did find some shoes, bags, and jewelry that I can’t take my eyes off of. You know I’ve already got an order coming to me in the mail.
Another month down in the books. I can’t believe we’re already in September!!! The holiday season is approaching and I couldn’t be more excited! Even though Arizona is still so hot and it usually doesn’t start to cool down until late October. You can call me basic if you want, I love me some PSL and pretty much pumpkin everything! Have you seen that they have a Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea Latte!!!!! I’m dying a to try this. I know this is going up later in the month but better late then never right!?
10 times out 10 after you have a baby you still look like you’re pregnant. Just because the baby came out doesn’t mean all of the weight did too. It took nine months to grow the baby and they say it takes nine months to take it off. And for the record, nursing a baby turns you into a ravenous beast. I can pretty much eat double my weight in food. So that’s not really helping me drop the weight either.
