I can’t believe summer is finally here! I’m so excited to be out of the cold weather and into the warm sun. We’ve got so much planned and places we’re going, I can’t wait to get the summer started! I pulled out and found a lot of items that I love to use with the warm weather that look great in the summer time.
I’ve found some awesome products this month that I am completely in love with! I’ve been slowly getting out of my winter routine and getting into my summer favorites.
I’ve been seeing this Tarte Shape Tape everywhere and I wanted to try it out for myself. Oh my gosh, it’s intense! It has a crazy amount of coverage that works wonders for my dark under eye circles. #nosleep #momlife. Amiright!? For me, this isn’t an everyday concealer but I do like to use it when I do a full face of make or for our occasional date nights!
I bought this lip color on a whim when we were in California. I had to run to Target because I forgot to pack a lot of stuff and when I was looking at some different lipsticks this one stuck out to me. I’m always interested in trying new lip products especially matte so I grabbed this Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor. I got the color Devotion and I am obsessed. I’ve been wearing it nonstop. It’s creamy when you first apply it but once it dries I feel it stays on pretty good. I usually reapply after I eat which isn’t a big deal to me and I just love that it doesn’t make my lips feel dry.
I’ll admit I’m in desperate need to get my hair colored!! It’s been awhile to say the least. I don’t usually like to get it colored when I’m in the first trimester but there has been no excuse seeing that I’m coming up on THIRD trimester soon. I like to use this Ultimate Color Repair Triple Rescue to protects against excessive heat that can damage color-treated hair. I love the smell and it leaves my hair feeling soft.
I keep talking about how this pregnancy has been making me breakout but I’ve been finding some great products to keep my breakouts at bay. Anything you read tells you tea tree or melaleuca, is great to use for acne prone skin. The same goes for this Lush Tea Tree Water. I wash my face with my Purity face wash (that I mentioned in last months favorites) and after it’s all cleansed I spray this on my face and let dry. Then I apply my moisturizer and my face just feels so fresh!
While keeping up on my skin, I like to switch up my masks that I use. These Sephora Face Mask come in one use sheets that make your skin feel amazing! My favorites are definitely the Rose, Green Tea, Lotus, and Algae. The website states, each mask is infused with a different active ingredient for relaxing the skin and achieving a brighter, more revitalized complexion. I can tell a difference when using this masks regularly.
It’s been a couple moths since I’ve done a monthly favorites but I’m excited to bring it back! I’ve been trying a lot of new products lately and I’m excited to share with you my list of awesome products!
Since I’ve been pregnant with this baby it’s crazy how much I’ve been breaking out. They say that’s a sign of a girl but I had breakouts when I was pregnant with Knox so I don’t know how much I believe in those old wives tales. During pregnancy you are limited to the kind of acne treatments you can use. Lush Mask of Magnenity is my favorite because it’s natural with no harsh chemicals and it’s safe for me to use during pregnancy. I just love the peppermint tingly feel on my face!
I am a foundation addict!! I think this stems from me not finding the absolute PERFECT foundation for myself. I have ones I like and some I like A LOT! The Loreal Infallible ProGlow is one that I’m kind of obsessed with right now. It’s medium coverage which I like. Not too thick and not to light. It’s glowy and I love that because I tend to have dry combination skin.
Philosophy Purity has been my favorite face wash for the past almost 2 years now. It’s natural and removes my makeup so well. It claims that it tones and lightly hydrates the skin and I couldn’t agree more with that. I’ve used other face washes that when I was done drying my face off it felt so dry that I needed to add extra moisturizer to bring it back to life.
I just recently found this E.L.F. Bronzer and I can’t stop using it! The colors work so well with my skin and for the price you can’t beat it. The colors have a good pigment that you can use for conturing also. The packaging is great too because it’s not too big to travel with.
The Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette is perfect summer coming up. I love the pinky and purple tones and I love that it smells like peaches too! This palette is so versatile the you can come up with so many different looks.
I keep saying this but where the heck did the year go?! Last month I was a teeny tiny bit late on the favorites so if feels like I just made this but I’m sure excited about this months favorites!
This is the candle that I loved for this Christmas season! They currently don’t have it on their site but maybe if you go check in the store they might. Also the Semi Annual Sale is going on do you definitely don’t want to miss that! This candle is called Tis the Season. It’s a spicy/sweet smell. You get a hint of apple which I love.
*When I checked back on this products this one is currently out of stock.*
So I posted in one of my YouTube videos me putting this on because I received it in last months favorites, my Sephora Play Box, I will be purchasing this when it does come back in stock because I loved how soft it made my face feel!
I love using this to remove my heavy duty makeup. You know the days when you put on way too much make and you end up having to wash your face two times because you just can’t get it all off! Well this cleanser is my go to when I need to get my crazy eye liner and mascara and my packed on foundation!
Breath of fresh air is my favorite toner of all time! If you don’t know by now I love all Lush products. The best part is these products are all natural and cruelty free. This toner is not made with any alcohol and leaves your face feeling very refreshed.
Since it was the holidays we were traveling a lot and I hate taking so much makeup with me so I try to pack sample or small size products so I’m not taking up too much room in my suitcase. I am a victim of having huge eyeshadow pallets that I never take with me when traveling because they take up too much space and always have to end up using my bronzer as an eyeshadow. This little guy is perfect for traveling.
Have you tried any of these? If you have which ones are your favorites?
