Why are these kids getting so big! Kai is seven months, Knox just turned two, and Kellan is about to turn 4 in a couple of short weeks!! My babies are getting bigger and I don’t know how to handle it. It’s like a bitter sweet moment looking forward to your kids going to school but not wanting them to grow up…like ever!
As everyone must know by now, we’re taking the boys to Legoland California for their birthday this year. So instead of spending a lot of money on a huge birthday party we’re going to spend a week in San Diego. We still wanted to do a little something to celebrate the birth of our little Knox and we thought what better way then to have a little party around his favorite food….PIZZA! And he loved his pizza party.
I’m so excited to post this but a little nervous! I had a lot of awesome feedback about my makeup that I did for our Christmas pictures. If you haven’t seen them and don’t know what the heck I’m talking about you can go check them out right here. So I filmed my very first makeup tutorial! If you’re interested in learning how I did my makeup click the video below and if you’re looking for what items I used I have them all linked below!
I could literally cry just thinking about my baby getting so big! The past three months has just flown by and I hate it! I’m so excited for him to be hitting all of these milestones and getting bigger but I’m so sad because I want to soak all of this in since he is my last baby. Christmas is in a few weeks and this year is a super exciting one. This is Knox’s first year of really understanding what Christmas is and Kaizer’s actual first Christmas. I can’t wait to experience this with all three of my babies! November was a busy month for us and here our Kaizer’s stats!
Here’s a real mom moment
It’s only Wednesday and I’ve lost my shit every day this week. I know I’m not proud of it but I’m human. Being a parent is hard. Like really hard. Especially when you’re raising little versions of yourself.
I don’t know about you but I hate when the kids get toys! Birthday, Christmas, just because grandma and grandpa felt like they needed it. They love getting them and after about a month, they’re broken, pieces are missing, and they are not played with again. Then they just sit there…in the toy box…not being played with. Toys end up getting pulled out and left on the floor because nobody wants to play with them and I end up having to clean up this insane mess that wasn’t even used! It’s just a huge cycle that I hate having to go through.
I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! I know we did! This was Kellans first year really understanding what trick or treating was and he loved running with the older boys to every house he could. Knox just liked walking up to the doors and saying twick o tweat. haha Now we have a ton of candy that I have to eat, dang it. Our little Kai turned 2 months old yesterday and needless to say everyone is still so in love with him. He’s been a great baby for the most part and just loves to snuggle.
